Goals of the Foundation for Continuing Professional Development

The primary purpose of the Foundation for Continuing Professional Development and it's website HealthSystemCE.org is to engage in activities that provide continuing education programming for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians through their respective state societies of health-system pharmacists.

The Foundation's Board of Directors is comprised of executives representing the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists, New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists and Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

The mission of The Foundation is to deliver high quality, fair and balanced online educational programming for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and other health care professionals covering a variety of clinical, management and professional practice topics.

The Specific Goals of the Foundation include:

Provide easily accessible Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited online e-learning educational experiences for state health system pharmacy society members and other health care providers in cooperation with their state recognized appropriate education certification bodies;
Provide educational programs of high quality with fair, objective and balanced educational content, relevant and applicable to the practice of pharmacy and/or other health care professions;
Provide regular updates to ensure current content for the educational programs;
Provide pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with continuing education programming that allows them to incorporate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) into their learning process;
Provide state of the art media delivery systems to enhance the learning experience
